CALL FOR UCI STUDENT PARTICIPANTS
UC Irvine Undergraduates are invited to earn 20 Hours per quarter working with K-12 students and Managing Editor Sue Cronmiller at El Sol Academy in the development of this new Publication Project (described below). Hours will be divided between online and in person meetings. We will meet Via Zoom to plan activities with El Sol students and Staff, and then follow up in person to help facilitate interviews, etc. at the school. Program Description:
EL SOL ACADEMY’s El MUNDO DE EL SOL publication project aims to capture the spirit and genius of El Sol in all of its forms and voices. We are looking for exceptional stories, artwork, poetry, photography, video projects, interviews, articles and all variety of original work from the classroom and the campus community. Selected work will be published in a print volume, and featured in the dedicated online newsletter. Selected videos will be published to the El Sol Conexion YouTube channel.

El Sol Academy, located in downtown Santa Ana, California, is a leading dual-immersion public charter school in Orange County offering an intensive academic instructional program that prepares students for high school and beyond. Our community resources, cultural experiences, curriculum, and program support each student for their success.
