FACULTYUCI offers students a unique opportunity to be taught by leaders in the field, both in practice and in research.

COURSEWORKStudents will learn the importance of and strategies for matching out-of-school academic and enrichment experiences with the interests, needs, and developmental level of program participants.

FIELDWORKStudents will engage in a minumum of 70 hours of fieldwork in programs close to their own homes where they will gain valuable skills and knowledge that will prepare them for part-time and full-time positions in afterschool and summer programs serving K-12 students.
